NEW Music Video!

I finally am getting around to making an AG music video! I want to keep working tonight, but it's dark out. Anyway, here is a photo I took (not for the movie). Natsumi and Felicity were just so cute, I had to take a random photo of them. :)

Doll Magazine!!!

I am making an online doll magazine that is mostly going to be about AG's and the people who love them! There is a video on my youtube you can check out. I first am trying to come up with a name. Right now I like either Doll Daze, or Doll Forever! Let me know what you think.

Also, I will be taking submissions sometime...I don't know when. I am looking for one or two people to do mini-photoshoots for the magazine. I'm also thinking if there should be any kind of them to each issue. I was thinking like a 90's summer kind of thing. For the first issue, in spring, it might just be a 'modern spring'.

I also am trying to decide if I should make a separate website for it. I probably will, off of this blog. If you are a doll lover, and interested about it even more, please leave a comment down below telling me what you think! I am really excited, and I can't wait to have some content for it. Currently I am writing up some pieces to put in it, but I can't wait to have some photos, too. :)

Girl Of the Year 2012!!!

Hey AG fans! As you already know, the new Girl Of The Year 2012 is McKenna Brooks! She is a gymnast with Elizabeth's face mold, blue eyes, and lovely caramel hair!
McKenna is a ten year old girl who loves gymnastics. She uses those strengths to help her succeed in school, along with the help of a friend.

I personally think she has a really nice wardrobe. A lot the gymnastics pieces can be easily converted into an everyday outfit. My favorites would have to be her meet outfit, and her warm up outfit. Her style is very modern and I think girls will like that they can dress similar to her. Although I love the warm-up outfit, and would buy it, it is only available in McKenna's starter kit.
While I think she is a beautiful doll (I especially like her hair), I don't think she is all that amazing. I think it was bad on American Girl Company's part to release her after Kanani. Kanani was, in my opinion, the best GOTY ever made (so far). She is highly unique, and different from all other girls. While McKenna is different, I don't think she compares to Kanani. I felt a little let down when she came out because she was is so simple and plain. After Kanani, I expected something a bit more- maybe even if they had added highlights to McKenna's hair, or something to make her a bit more unique.

I know for sure that I will not be getting McKenna, but I do actually like her, and I'm glad they came out with a gymnastics girl because I know a lot of girls can relate to her. I know that my sister, Anna, loves to make her dolls do gymnastics.

She has a very nice collection as well. My favorite thing would have to be her colossal loft bed. It was very detailed and modern. I love all the little things it comes with. I could definitely see it in a PB-Teen catalogue for dolls. XD However, with a price tag of $225, I would rather spend the money on two dolls!

I really I will be able to go to American Girl Place this year. I would really like to go to the one in D.C, which is the closest one to us that we haven't gone to (six hours away!). I'm hoping we can take a family trip down there this summer. I'm already saving my money, just in case! I would really LOVE to see McKenna in person, because I do rather like her face mold with her hair.

Those were just my opinions on her. Please do not get mad at me or anything. I would love to hear your opinions on her as well (especially if you have her)!
